City of Gods is a two-channel video installation and photo series that offers an intimate exploration of life in Varanasi beyond the Shot in the golden mornings and sun-soaked afternoons, the work immerses viewers in the kaleidoscope of Varanasi’s everyday life — saris drying in waves of orange, yellow, and white; children learning to meditate; locals moving through rituals of work, worship, and rest.

Though not grand in a traditional sense, the city radiates a quiet magnificence — a sense of divinity woven through its people and their daily acts. City of Gods reflects on this spiritual texture, revealing a Varanasi that feels both profoundly human and transcendently sacred.
